Brandon Jackson Realizes the Packers Rushing Ahead Without Him
Jackson knows what that means: The team is moving on without him.
"I enjoyed my opportunities here," Jackson told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "And I really don't know what's going to happen. But if it's here, hey, I'm glad to be here. If it's somewhere else, then I'll take it somewhere else."
Jackson becomes a free agent this offseason, and he says the Packers have said nothing to him about a new contract. Packers running back James Starks is younger and cheaper and had 23 carries for 123 yards in the playoff win over the Eagles, and he may be their running back of the future. Jackson is not.
