Twany Beckham, a former Mississippi State guard, will transfer to Kentucky, according to published reports. Beckham visited a UK practice Sunday, and sources have indicated that he will enroll at the school. He will be able to play in January, 2012.

Kentucky Sports Radio
first reported the story.

Beckham started five games this season with the Bulldogs, but cited limited playing time as his reason for leaving. He was redshirted last season after having bone spurs removed from both hips, and he will have two and a half years of eligibility remaining.

A native of Louisville, Beckham averaged 2.9 points and 2.1 assists per game this season in Starkville.

"This is the happiest day of my life," Beckham told Scout.com's Evan Daniels.
