Trainer Robert Garcia was in the corner for ex-champion Antonio Margarito during his Nov. 13, unanimous decision loss to eight-division titlist and WBO welterweight (147 pounds) and WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) champion Manny Pacquiao that was televised on HBO pay per view and promoted by Top Rank Promotions.

A southpaw, Pacqiauo has a May 7 CBS Showtime pay per view televised defense of his WBO belt against three-division, five-time champion, Shane Mosley.

But Garcia believes that Pacquiao needs to prove himself against former southpaw WBC middleweight (160 pounds) king Sergio Martinez, who is coming off of a Nov. 20 second-round knockout of Paul Williams.
