"Two and a Half Men" actor Charlie Sheen was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital early today, according to reports.

TMZ hears that a 911 call was placed from the 45-year-old actor's home at 6:35 a.m. after he reportedly suffered abdominal pain. Neighbors say Sheen had thrown a loud, late party the night before.

It's the latest in a long string of unfortunate events for the troubled actor.

  • December 2009: Sheen was arrested on domestic violence charges after allegedly shoving his wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas Day.
  • February 2010: Sheen checked himself into rehab.
  • June 2010: Six months after the Christmas Day dust-up Sheen and Mueller divorced.
  • October 2010: In a now-infamous incident, Sheen was apprehended at the Plaza Hotel in New York after allegedly trashing his suite. Authorities found Sheen drunk, naked and in the company of a porn star named Capri Anderson; they took him to New York Presbyterian for a mental health evaluation. Later Sheen called reactions to his outburst "totally overblown."
  • November 2010: The following month, Anderson appeared on "Good Morning America" and revealed details about her night with Sheen. Anderson claimed Sheen threw a lamp at her and grabbed her by the throat, and said she planned to file suit against the actor. In return, Sheen filed his own lawsuit against Anderson, alleging that she was a "publicity hungry scam artist" who was trying to extort him.
  • January 2011: Earlier this month, rumors surfaced that Sheen and ex-wife Mueller might be on the road to reconciliation, but a source close to Mueller denied the veracity of these reports. "They are not together as far as I know," the source said.
