U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson struck down President Barack Obama's signature health care law today, arguing that it violated the U.S. Constitution. Siding with the argument made by lawyers representing 26 U.S. states, Vinson specifically took issue with provisions of the law that require citizens to purchase health insurance.
The matter will now head to the United States Supreme Court, where it faces an uncertain fate.
