ARLINGTON, Texas -- Super Bowl XLV is a big weekend for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and an even bigger one for Steelers' great Jerome Bettis. While the Steelers ready themselves to take on the Green Bay Packers Sunday, Bettis has some important business of his own to attend to on Saturday, as he readies himself for the official announcement of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2011. However, before he and the Steelers get down to serious business, Bettis took part in a Guinness "Perfect Pour" competition on Thursday evening.
Bettis issued a challenge back in September of 2010, claiming that he could beat any and all comers in a Guinness pouring competition. The man who got the call, representing the people, was Dan Horan, a police officer from Buffalo, New York.
Bettis was well-prepared for the challenge, but he might have broken the cardinal rule of any competition -- he over-looked his opponent. After losing the pour-off by a score of 2-1, Bettis sat down with FanHouse and BroBible.com to talk about the loss, the Super Bowl and his thoughts on Saturday's Pro Football Hall of Fame announcement.
