Darrell Williams, a junior forward for Oklahoma State, has been charged with felony rape. The district attorney's office of Payne County filed charges Monday morning for an alleged incident that occurred December 13.Williams has started 12 of 23 games for the Cowboys this year after transferring in from Midland College. He has averaged just over seven points and seven rebounds a game this season.
Oklahoma State coach Travis Ford wasn't present for Monday's Big 12 conference call, and assistant coach Chris Ferguson said that he was unaware of the charges.
A statement from the university is expected.
