She was taken to Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, where she died, WPVI-TV reported.
The Delaware County Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy, but the results were being withheld until the woman's family could be notified.
Authorities said the woman, whose name was not released, had undergone a procedure involving silicone injections to enhance her buttocks, WPVI said. The procedure, which is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, was apparently performed at the hotel sometime Monday.
The woman was one of four visiting from Britain and staying at the hotel, the media reports said. One of her companions was treated after having the procedure.
