During an appearance on NBC's "Today" show, the first lady said her daughters Sasha, 9, and Malia, 12, are not on the social networking site, and that's not only because of her parental discretion.
"I think we are lucky that there are a lot of real constraints, things like Secret Service," she explained. "But I'm not a big fan of young kids having Facebook."
Maybe the girls will be on Facebook when they are older, but for now, Michelle says, "it's not necessary."
