That was the message Google manager and Facebook revolutionary Wael Ghonim had for the educated Egyptian diaspora following the breathtaking ouster of former President Hosni Mubarak.
Taking to Twitter, another site that Ghonim used to help harness the masses in his homeland, Ghonim wrote the following:
A call to all well-educated Egyptians around the world. Come back ASAP to build our nation. #Jan25
The role that technology has played in the uprising that toppled Mubarak is epitomized in Ghonim's screen icon, which features a cartoon version of the Google employee sitting cross-legged with an Apple laptop, wearing the headdress of a pharaoh.
Earlier in the day, in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Ghonim singled out Facebook and its founder, Mark Zuckerberg, for the role they played in facilitating the historic change.
