Please help me find all the other Phil and Phyllis Campbells who live all over the world. I'm organizing the first-ever International Phil Campbell Convention, to be held in Phil Campbell, Alabama on June 17th and 18th.
That's right, the International Phil Campbell Convention. Not to be confused with the first Phil Campbell Convention, held back in 1995. Then, twenty-two Phil Campbells and one Phyllis Campbell attended - a fine feat, but we were all Americans.
There were no Canadian Phyllis Campbells, no Scottish or English Philip Campbells, no Irish or Australian Phillip Campbells. And definitely no Felipe Campbells from Chile. Not everyone came, because not everyone could be invited. Sixteen years later, I'm organizing another convention. But this time, it's different. First, the town of Phil Campbell - a real town, I swear!- is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its incorporation with a special festival, and we Phil Campbells are joining them.
Second, social networking and the Internet means that we can make this year a truly international Phil Campbell Convention. I'm friends with more than 180 "PCs" on Facebook, and the town is helping me with formal letters of invitation to hundreds of known Phil Campbells.
We've got a few Australian Phil Campbells already committed to coming, but that still isn't enough. Seriously, I need your help finding all the Phil Campbells!

If you don't know a Phil of Phyllis Campbell, call someone with the last name of Campbell, and tell them about it. Maybe they have a cousin Phillip or a sister Philomena. But don't expect to be at the head of the parade if your name isn't Phil, Philip, Phillip, Phyllis, Philippe, Philipp, Philippa, Philice, Philomena, Phillep, Phylip, Pilib, Felip, Felipe, Filip, Filippo, Filippu, Filipe, Filype, Fülöp, Fulup Campbell. Or you're Hollywood actor Jason Biggs, but only because he's playing a Phil Campbell - well, me - in the new film "Grassroots," and is therefore an honorary Phil Campbell. Yes, we're having a parade. We're also making t-shirts.
I'll personally send you a Phil Campbell Convention t-shirt if you can persuade the lead guitarist of Motorhead to join us. He's our most famous Phil Campbell.
