The conservative commentator instead decided to pick a fight with the all-mighty search engine, which he accuses of "bizarrely inserting" itself into the story of the Egyptian revolution.
"May I recommend if you are doing your own homework, don't do a Google search. Seems to me that Google is pretty deeply in bed with the government," Beck told his audience.
Beck listed Google's close ties to the U.S. government, support for "hardcore leftists" and disregard for user privacy as three reasons he's skeptical of the company.
"I'm not afraid that Google is reading my e-mail, or tapping your phone lines, or stealing Grandma's recipes," he said. "What I'm starting to look at is Google and Google as a whole."
