Thursday night, Branson was on her home station, the Los Angeles CBS affiliate, to talk about the nightmare she went through. Watch a segment of the interview:
You can view the entire interview here. Branson also appeared on CBS's "The Early Show" this morning.
Though the original clip of her struggle to do a seemingly routine live shot went viral almost immediately, Branson says she didn't know about her YouTube "success" for several days.
"I hadn't been on the Internet," she told "The Early Show." But after a while, she talked to a friend.
"I didn't have any idea at that point because, obviously, work and my family were so concerned about my health at that point. But my friend said something about seeing it on the news. And I said, 'The news?' And even at that point I said, 'Gosh, I hope it doesn't make it on YouTube.'"
But, of course, it did.
Branson also talked about what was going through her head as the incident occurred.
Luckily, however, the incident wasn't a stroke, as some had speculated in the aftermath. Her doctors believe she suffered a complex migraine. Branson says that she has had migraines since childhood, but never experienced anything like this previously.
