Tyshawn TaylorKansas guard Tyshawn Taylor has been suspended indefinitely, coach Bill Self announced Monday. The junior is being disciplined for a violation of team rules.

"Although we are disappointed in Tyshawn, he will remain a member of our team and practice with our team until he is reinstated for competition," Self said.

Taylor has started all but one game for the No. 1 Jayhawks, and he leads the team in assists and ranks third in the Big 12 in that category. In addition, Taylor is averaging over eight points a game and two rebounds.

Kansas will play Oklahoma State Monday night in Lawrence.
