Even before Gerald Wallace was traded to Portland, Gerald Henderson was starting to make noise among deeper league owners.

Henderson over his last three has come off the bench to average 28 minutes per game, 18.5 points, five rebounds and two assists. He's also gotten to the free-throw line 25 times, making 20 of those attempts. It's now been made official, by head coach Paul Silas, that Henderson will start and play a significant role with the team after Wallace was traded to the Blazers.

I would say that Henderson is worth a grab in all formats. Before this deal went down he was looking like a deeper league waiver add, but I would go as far as to say that owners in 12-team leagues need to give him a look.

As for Gerald Wallace, he's going to see some of his value decrease. There is more talent in Portland than in Charlotte, which means he's not going to be called up to play 40 minutes per game.

In the long-run that may turn out to be a blessing in disguise, however, given how hard he goes at it each night. But he's not likely to get the offensive touches he was used to in Charlotte. If it makes you feel any better, though, he'll probably get better looks! And I also think he won't have to worry about his rebound totals.

Look for Wallace to make his debut this Sunday, and see how the team utilizes him in the offense. Naturally, that will be key to his value since he's a natural talent on defense and someone who can crash the boards regardless of what team he's on. Hold on to Wallace.
