Many raised an eyebrow when Anne Hathaway and James Franco were announced as the co-hosts of the 2011 Academy Awards. Hollywood watchers supposed that the pair were selected to make the awards show seem a little younger -- maybe even a little more "Saturday Night Live"-esque.
Indeed, there's been an "SNL" tinge to some of the promos for the big night, like when Franco tackles Hathaway to save her from a wardrobe malfunction.
