After being taken into custody, a 20-year-old man reportedly told cops in Florida that his religion is "redneck."
Joshua Lee Joehlin of Texas told police in Bradenton that he is a follower of the "redneck" faith after being accused of engaging in a lewd and lascivious act with a minor, The Smoking Gun reports.
Joehlin was arrested early Sunday and is reportedly being held in the Manatee County jail on $10,000 bond.
When filling out police reports, officers from the Bradenton Police Department will list any religion stated by the suspect, even if that faith is a derogatory term for poor white Southerners, ABC Action News reports.
