BofA's website last crashed in January at another inconvenient time: the Friday before Martin Luther King Day, which for many people was the last payday before a long weekend.
A bank spokesperson has said the outage was caused by routine weekend maintenance and denies any hack or attack on the site.
That's nice, but it doesn't do much for customers who can't access their accounts.

Activist hacker group Anonymous says this isn't its handiwork, although it has threatened financial institutions in the past, notably those -- like BofA -- that cut off payments to WikiLeaks.
