What is the price of a memory?

At least $500 if you're porn actress Ginger Lynn, who dated Charlie Sheen back in the early 1990s.

Lynn, whose real name is Ginger Lynn Allen, is auctioning a few mementos from the relationship, including a book of his poems, a personal letter he wrote while in drug rehab and a copy of the "1991 Complete Drug Reference Guide" that Sheen signed, "From one druggie to another."

The actress, 48, has placed a starting bid of $500 on each item but, naturally, hopes to get more by the time the auctions end on March 15 and 16 (for the "Drug Encyclopedia").

Charlie Sheen's former girlfriend, porn star Ginger Lynn, is auctioning off some mementos from the affair -- including a drug reference manual.

Although she tells the Los Angeles Times Sheen never raised his voice, much less his fist, during their relationship, she also admits there were some rocky moments as well, in part, because of drug and alcohol abuse.

"I was right there with him," she said. "It was almost like he was the male version of me and I was the female version of him."

The relationship finally hit the rocks when Sheen sent Lynn a card for her 32nd birthday that read: "You still make heads turn -- only now it's the other way."

Underneath, Sheen had scribbled, "Just kidding!"

Despite cracks like that, Lynn says the Sheen she knows can be soft, considerate, sensitive, warm and encouraging.

Still, that isn't stopping her from putting her mementos up for sale -- with more to come.

"I don't know Charlie today. I haven't seen him in over 15 years," she said. "There's someone out there who's going to appreciate these more than I do today."
