It all started with Charlie Sheen's humble description of his impeccable circulatory system.

In a now legendary interview with NBC's Today Show, Sheen boasted that he was not like ordinary people in that "tiger blood" flows through his veins.

With his words quickly becoming an internet meme, Sheen decided that putting some tiger blood in his stomach would also prove entertaining for his many fans. So, after being officially fired by Warner Brothers on Monday, Sheen took to a California rooftop with a machete, a bottle allegedly filled with tiger blood, and one of his two goddesses for a little showing off.

Nor was not the first time that Sheen had publicly sipped the so-called blood of tigers. Over the weekend, the actor broke out a bottle of the new drink during Sunday night's "Sheen's Korner" debut:

But what's in the tiger blood concoction Sheen has been swilling so much of lately? While we may never known the answer to that question, Surge Desk has tracked down five different takes on how to mix a beverage of the same name.

1. Tiger Blood a la Diddy
Over the weekend, Diddy tweeted his recipe for a simple yet elegant Tiger Blood cocktail.

2. Tiger Blood energy potion
For a limited time, Harcos Laboratories is offering Bi-Winning Tiger Blood, "specifically to make your brain fire in a way that's not from this particular terrestrial realm." The Tiger Blood -- it's actually an energy drink -- costs $4 a pouch and, according to the company, will make you "realize dying's for fools and that can't is the cancer of happen. Period. The end."

3. Longman & Eagle's Tiger Blood
The renowned Chicago restaurant recognized for its creative mixed drinks announced on Monday that Tiger Blood is their cocktail of the week. The ingredients include Fighting Cock Bourbon, Carpano Antica, Pedro Ximenez Solera 1927 and Bourbon Barrel Aged Bitters.

4. TY-ger Blood
Asian wine and spirits company TY KU also came up with a spicy improvisation on the tiger blood craze. Their recipe requires three ounces tomato juice, 1.5 ounces TY KU Sake, pinch of wasabi, dash of soy sauce, and a squeeze of lime.

5. Virgin Tiger Blood
For those who abstain from alcohol --we're looking at you, Charlie-- there's always this alcohol free Tiger Blood from The Daily Meal. Just mix two ounces coconut water, two ounces blood orange soda, ice (optional), four to six dashes bitters and one slice blood orange, as a garnish.
