A mysterious moneybags stood in a central El Paso, Texas, parking lot Wednesday morning, handing $100 bills to passers-by.
Julie Mireles was walking into Big Lots when a well-dressed, 50-something woman armed with a large purse full of cash approached her.
"She says, 'Excuse me young lady, can I just bless you with this?' and she just put the bill in my hand," Mireles told KVIA-TV.
A Big Lots employee estimated a dozen of her shoppers received $100 bills, and said she believed the woman gave away untold amounts in the parking lot and at a nearby Kmart store.
Nobody could elicit a response from the woman as to why she was giving her money away; when asked, she just pointed to her heart.
"There was something in that lady's face, in her expression ... she wanted to give and bless people with that money. There are still good, caring people in El Paso," said Mireles.
