According to The Local, the woman, who lives in the town of Gunnilse, reportedly found the foul item Monday while pouring the last drops of "filmjolk," a fermented milk product similar to buttermilk, into her dog's food bowl.
Milica says the incident ruined both her and her mom's appetite for days.
"She's started to eat again, but she's never going to buy filmjolk again," Milica told the Swedish newspaper Expressen.
Meanwhile, Katarina Malmstrom, a customer service representative from Arla Foods -- the Scandinavian dairy cooperative that produced the filmjolk -- is doubtful that the condom ended up in the filmjolk during the packaging process.
"It's impossible ... there's not a chance," she said. "It's a closed process and there are filters and things that would stop something so large from ending up in a container."
Milica says when she reported the dairy product discovery, a company rep theorized that someone in her home placed the condom in the package as a prank, something she insists couldn't have happened.
Malmstrom says it will take several days before technicians at the company are able to figure when and how the condom ended up in the filmjolk.
