University of Kentucky police are investigating two incidents in which signs referring to President Obama with a racial epithet were posted on and near the campus.
On Thursday morning, UK Law School student Ches Clark found a sign on a bus shelter that said "How Do You Spell N----r? OBAMA," the Lexington Herald-Leader reports.
Clark took the sign to his law school class on racism and criminal law and posted it on his Facebook page. He said the note was rudimentary, with letters that appeared to have been cut from a menu, glued onto another piece of paper and photocopied.
On March 15, a UK professor found a similar sign on the door to the law school.
Campus police are investigating the incidents and could press charges for third-degree criminal mischief.
