A Virginia couple are accused of leaving their three young daughters in a room filled with urine and feces, then nailing drywall to the door, trapping the children inside.

John Michael Robey, 33, and Christina Dawn Moore, 26, have been charged with felony child abuse, the Prince William County Police said in a statement. The couple's 4-year-old daughter managed to escape the Bristow, Va., home Saturday evening and run to the home of a neighbor, who called police.

When they arrived at the home, police said they found the little girls' two younger sisters, a 4-month-old and a 2-year-old, alone, filthy and trapped behind a wall of drywall 5 feet tall in a bedroom filled with urine and feces.

The children, who likely weren't trapped in the room for more than 24 hours, were physically unharmed and were taken into the custody of child protective services.

According to InsideNova.com, Moore was charged with felony child neglect in 2005, when her twin sons, then 22 months old, were found wandering alone and dirty near a landfill. It's not clear whether Moore still has custody of the boys.
