A 25-year-old Florida woman allegedly did just that when she was found disrobed down to her underwear after trying to "conceal her scent" from police dogs, the TCPalm reports.
Officials say after a night of drinking ended in a car accident, Angela Ferranti ditched her clothes and attempted to elude authorities by darting into the woods in central Port St. Lucie.
Ferranti's alleged scheme, however, was no match for Kilo, the drug-sniffing police dog, who had no trouble tracking the scent.
According to the Thursday report, Ferranti said she had had about six drinks before she and her boyfriend left the bar and crashed their 1997 Buick around 10:45 p.m.
"She said she was driving northbound ... and her boyfriend, who is on probation, was paranoid that the police were following them and grabbed the steering wheel and she hit the median," the affidavit states.
When a sergeant asked Ferranti why she took off her clothes, she responded that she did not know why, according to reports.
Officials searched the vehicle and found a pipe containing marijuana residue in it.
Ferranti was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and not having registration.
