Police say this suspect gives new meaning to the term home-wrecker.

When an officer attempted pull over Joseph Ronald Webb for driving with a suspended license, the 20-year-old allegedly fled, leading police on 15-block chase before crashing his car into his house in an attempt to avoid arrest.

A cop who knew Webb and was aware his license had been suspended attempted to stop the suspect at around 2:30 p.m. Monday, sources at the Alachua Police Department told The Gainesville Sun.

But instead of pulling over, Webb reportedly jumped a curb in his Chevrolet Caprice and blew through traffic signals before "crashing the vehicle into his residence," an officer told the paper.

After smashing into his own home, Webb allegedly attempted to escape on foot.

The suspect was apprehended in his backyard and was arrested on charges of fleeing and eluding police, resisting an officer, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, marijuana possession, driving with a suspended license, and hit and run.
