Police in Los Angeles say they have detained a man who was photographed running naked alongside traffic on the 405 North on Tuesday morning.
The suspect -- clothed only in black socks -- jogged down the highway and tried to talk with drivers who slowed down, investigators told KTLA.com.
After exiting the 405, the man -- whose name has not been released -- attempted to attack a woman, according to police. Officers cuffed the man and took him into custody for indecent exposure. He is being held for a psychiatric evaluation, according to LA Weekly.
"We got reports of a naked man running in the street and detained him," a police source told the paper. "If he's taken for a 5150 (a 72-hour psychiatric hold), there's not much I can tell you about him.''
