ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 7) — Jason Rodriguez's marriage long ago went sour, his home taken in foreclosure, his job lost to incompetence, his finances sunk in bankruptcy. It was a "stress overload" for the man accused of a deadly shooting rampage at his former office, his lawyer said Saturday.

A man so broke that he said he didn\'t have the money to visit his son 30 minutes away opened fire Friday at the engineering firm that fired him two years ago, killing one person and wounding five, authorities said. Jason Rodriguez, 40, surrendered about three hours later, after officers saw him through the window of his mother\'s home and asked him to come outside, Orlando Police Chief Val Demings said.
