SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A San Francisco jury has found a former reality TV show contestant guilty of killing a man in 2007. Twenty-nine-year-old Jamal Rashead Trulove of Oakland was convicted Tuesday of first-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

NEW YORK (AP) — After rap star Lil Wayne spent months bidding farewell to his fans and his freedom, what loomed for him Tuesday was a dental chair, not a house of detention. His sentencing in a weapons case was postponed so he could have dental surgery before going to jail.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tom Cruise is starring in another impossible mission. Paramount Pictures announced Tuesday that Cruise will be back in front of the camera for "Mission: Impossible IV," due in theaters over Memorial Day weekend in 2011.

White Stripes: Air Forces Reserve ad stole song
DETROIT (AP) — The White Stripes say the Air Force Reserve used one of their songs without permission in a Super Bowl ad, and that they are insulted their song was used to encourage recruitment during a war they don't support. The two-member band, which is originally from Detroit, said the ad made unauthorized use of their song "Fell in Love With a Girl."
Jamie Foxx delivers music, instruments to kids
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Jamie Foxx wanted to entertain a group of musically inclined high school students with a few bars from his Grammy winning hit, "Blame It." But since the song is an ode to the effects of alcohol, he changed the lyrics to "Blame it on the a-a-a-apple juice." The kids roared.
Beyonce, Alicia Keys shoot music video in Rio slum
RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — Grammy Award-winning singers Beyonce and Alicia Keys are filming a music video in Rio de Janeiro. Sheri Ladner is a publicist with RCA Music Group, which includes Keys' label, J Records. She says the singers are shooting a video for their duet "Put It In a Love Song." The song is from Keys' recently released album "The Element of Freedom."
'Lost' star cast in 'Hawaii 5-0'
HONOLULU (AP) — "Lost" star Daniel Dae Kim is the first actor cast for the remake of the hit cop series "Hawaii Five-0." CBS told The Honolulu Advertiser that Kim will portray detective Chin Ho Kelly, who was originally played by the late Kam Fong. Kim plays Jin on ABC's "Lost," which is in its sixth and final season.
DeGeneres says Cowell is 'meaner than I thought'
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Ellen DeGeneres, the newest judge on "American Idol," says Simon Cowell is "meaner" than she thought. Cowell, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi and various guest judges kicked off the ninth season of the Fox singing competition last month. DeGeneres begins her stint Tuesday night. In a video posted on the show's Web site, DeGeneres says Cowell is "actually meaner than I thought. It's hard to listen to him tell people things and for me not to go, `You poor thing!'"
