CLEVELAND (Feb. 18) -Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., the biggest U.S. tire maker, said Wednesday the global economic slowdown will force it to cut nearly 5,000 jobs this year after it posted a fourth-quarter loss and revenue sank 21 percent.
