(Nov. 20) -- After marrying one of the doormen at her New York City apartment building, a successful hand and foot model says the other staff turned on her, refusing to hail her cabs or retrieve her packages.
Known as the "Heidi Klum of foot models," Christina Ambers told the Daily News that after she married Angel Rotger, the doorman lost his job with the building, located on Manhattan's swanky Upper East Side.
In addition, Ambers accuses the wife of the building's superintendent of hitting Rotger in the groin with her handbag.

After Christina Ambers married her doorman, Angel Rotger, she says he lost his job and the other doormen stopped hailing cabs for her and retrieving her packages.
As a result of the treatment she and her doorman-turned-husband have received, Ambers has filed a $10 million lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court, the Daily News said.
"I hope that people can understand how awful it is to come home and then be treated with hostility in a building where I have paid a lot of money to live," Ambers told the Daily News.
The newspaper reported that the co-op board for the building would fight the lawsuit, saying Ambers' claims have no merit.
Some residents in the building told the Daily News that Ambers, whose feet and hands have appeared in numerous ad campaigns, was a difficult neighbor who often used foul language and wore "skimpy" clothing in the building's common areas.
"The people in this building need to come into the 21st century," Ambers told the newspaper. "I fell in love with Angel because he is a sweet, caring man -- how dare they look down on us!"
