(May 5) - It’s an honor to be immortalized at Madame Tussauds famed museum. But London Mayor Boris Johnson had mixed feelings when he came face to face Tuesday with his wax likeness.
"It's only when you see yourself in 3-D res you realize just how fat you are. I have got to get out and start jogging more," the dismayed leader said, according to the Daily Mail. "I have to lose some weight."

Although he was not pleased by the size of the waxwork's waist, Johnson had to concede the model was very realistic. "It's a brilliant job they have done," he said. "It is an amazing, eerie, lifelike, spooky version of myself."
Madame Tussauds in London unveiled the likeness as Johnson completes his first year in office. The 44-year-old mayor, a former journalist, joked that he hoped Londoners would not be alarmed "to know there are two of me in this great city."
And he said he hopes the museum will redo the waxwork after he sheds some pounds.
"I look forward to the figure being remodeled in a few months in keeping with the more lean and lithe physique I hope will soon emerge," he said.
