NEW YORK -A look at New York Stock Exchange 10 most-active stocks at the close of trading:

Bank of America Corp. rose .1 percent to $7.15 with 105,729,800 shares traded.

Chesapeake Energy Corp. rose 1.5 percent to $15.81 with 38,919,400 shares traded.

Citigroup Inc. fell .7 percent to $26.47 with 24,637,900 shares traded.

EMC Corp. was unchanged at $24.24 with 28,112,500 shares traded.

Ford Motor Co. rose .1 percent to $10.60 with 30,179,800 shares traded.

General Electric Co. fell .3 percent to $19.20 with 26,636,100 shares traded.

Hewlett Packard Co. rose 2.6 percent to $22.33 with 23,184,500 shares traded.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. fell 1.4 percent to $33.50 with 28,441,800 shares traded.

Sprint Nextel Corp. rose 3.6 percent to $2.62 with 62,272,000 shares traded.

VeriFone Systems Inc. fell 15.5 percent to $38.03 with 24,815,800 shares traded.
