(Oct. 29) -- Sade Davis had drowned.
The 23-year-old expectant mother was technically dead when paramedics found her inside her overturned car in a Maryland creek on Saturday morning. She wasn't breathing and had no pulse.

But the quick action of paramedics managed to avert what would have been a tragic fate for Davis -- and likely her baby as well. They brought the woman back to life, NBC Washington reported.
"He's supposed to be here," Davis said Wednesday, referring to her unborn son. "That's why he's kicking right now."
It was actually a series of lucky breaks that led to Davis' dramatic rescue. A sole passer-by witnessed her car veer off the road and overturn into the creek. Then, a fire truck passed by the scene while en route to another call in the area, and the bystander flagged down the vehicle.
Davis spent four days in the hospital. After her release Wednesday, she met the team of paramedics who saved her and her baby's lives.
"I don't know where I would have been without you guys," she told them Wednesday, according to TheGrio.com, a Web site for African Americans. "It's just a blessing and a miracle that you saved me, so it's a double rainbow. It's definitely a double miracle sitting right here!"
