Seminoles Relying on Young Arms In Regional

TALLAHASSEE | Pitching coach Mike Bell knew going into the year that Florida State had some impressive freshmen and that those young, inexperienced pitchers would be leaned on heavily this season.
And the job of Bell, a Sarasota native and former Florida Southern assistant, was to develop the young staff into one that would not just compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference but again be ready for a postseason run.
FSU had never leaned on two freshmen to be the Seminoles' top two starters.
