Mike Yastrzemski's two-strike eighth-inning squeeze play for Vanderbilt put the squeeze on South Carolina's Southeastern Conference Tournament title hopes.
Yastrzemski, the grandson of former Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski, drove in Vince Conde with the winning run in the Commodores' 3-2 victory at Regions Park Wednesday night.
"That's just something I felt like was the right thing to do at the right time," Commodores coach Tim Corbin said.
